Instead, i used a large sponge similar to that on a sponge mop.
To my disappointment, i noticed absolutely no difference whatsoever.
I did not notice any odor after using it.
You could try that, andrew, or leave the windows open for a while.
I would also suggest that to marvin who used it in the car.
Used on light color auto floor mats.
Not recommended for autos unless you like the smell change.
I tried this product on a dark brown carpet, and thought it worked well.
We are now in a house where the carpet was a nice off white.
I was on my hands and knees scrubbing my heart out with this stuff.
Bought 3 bottles of it.
I wanted to impress my boyfriend when he came back from florida.
I would have gotten the same results if i had stood over the soiled areas and whistled for about an hour.
I scrubbed those areas, and went back over them again, waited for them to dry, then vaccumed.
Nothing dramatic, and only a very slight difference.
I thought with all of my scrubbing, it would have had a better outcome.
If you have a dark carpet, yes.
But if you have a light carpet, the results are not worth the hard work.
I will have to try this.
